Is there anyone that can help ME?

I'm getting a bit hopeless here. I'm in an emotionally & verbally abusive marriage, with 2 children, 8 & 11. I have finally realized that it's time for me to get out. But it is anything but easy. I'm desparately trying to find a full-time job here in Florida, so that I can become financially independent. I need to find a lawyer that will work pro bono. I own our home with my husband. Things are spiralling out of control. Are ther any good souls out there that can help me???

i think the worse time is when ones decides to get out, after that things tend to improve. I'm like you, separated from my husband of 29 years since he had an affair and is not repentant.I only have a part time job, he wants the house back and I don't know where to go from here, but I can tell you to trust GOd and talk to HIM about it all. Of course you need to get help from somewhere around where you live about financial matters, I'm sure there is such help you only have to find it, also I think you need to get out as soon as possible because of the abuse (I had some too). Do you have some relatives who could offer you a home for a while?

1st you should talk to a counselor at one of the domestic violence centers in your county find out what your options are from there. They will have advice about what to do about an attorney probono. Talk to them 1st then decide what to do next. I wish you luck!
